New book by Pat Bemis: Nursing Emergency Bible
On September 15, 2005, nurse Patricia Bemis's book, Nursing Emergency Bible, was presented at a book signing to 4000 nurses at the annual meeting of the Emergency Nursing Association in Nashville, Tennessee. The signing was sponsored by the honor society of nursing, Sigma Theta Tau, and Nursing Knowledge International whose goal is to improve world health through knowledge. Patricia Bemis, RN CEN, a resident of Rockledge, Florida, wrote the textbook
based on standard-of-care in the U.S. today and practical techniques learned
during her twenty-five years of practice in emergency departments across the
United States. Bemis is a registered nurse certified in emergency nursing. She
has taught thousands of nurses to be efficient and effective emergency nurses
with her unique nature-of-the-emergency categories and nine-step process for
