Postage increase and the First-Class 'Forever Stamp'
Beginning May 14 the United States Postal Service will increase the rate for regular postage stamps from 39 cents to 41 cents. At the same time, so-called First-Class 'Forever Stamps' will be available for purchase. You will be able to use these 'Forever Stamps' as first class stamps in the future even following multiple future increases in the postage rate for standard first class mail (under one-ounce). The First-Class Forever Stamps are now available at your local post office in booklets of 20 stamps. There is no limit on the number of booklets you can purchase. Follow this link for more information on the First-Class Forever Stamp.
