Don't try to go it alone!
Many nurse entrepreneurs try to start their nurse entrepreneur business alone. They think they have to go it alone to really feel successful. However, this is one of the surest ways to fail. It is important to work with others. By working with others you are able to get support. This support is typically in the form of emotional support which can help you maintain momentum when you feel like slowing down. Having regular contact with others will also help you generate more ideas. The feedback you receive from others, if you are open to feedback, means you can avoid many pitfalls you would have encountered if you had gone it alone. By sharing your ideas with others, including other nurse entrepreneurs, you can think much bigger about your business. Being more focused is another outcome of sharing ideas and plans with others. You might now be thinking about how you might be able to work with others, including other nurse entrepreneurs, but you are unsure how to do this. One way to do this is to get involved in one of the Nurse Entrepreneur Network MasterMind groups. Another way to do this is to use social networks. One social network on the internet is Linked In at www.linkedin.com. Yet another resource would be coaching. You can check out my coaching services on the Nurse Entrepreneur Network website. There are also other ways to involve other nurse entrepreneurs in your business. The single greatest action steps you can take related to this tip are to identify how you can find other nurse entrepreneurs, how you will involve them in your business, and then take the first step to get this going.
