More ideas on getting your prospects to call you back
I previously gave some tips on getting your prospects to return your phone messages such as leaving only your name and phone number, sounding enthusiastic, and making sure they are able to record your phone number. Here are some more tips and ideas. Don't be afraid of rejection. You can say this is easier said than done. What you need to remember is that they are saying "no" to your offer and not to you. It isn't about you; it's about your offer. They are simply choosing not to spend their money with you at this time. Learn from this and try to make your offer more compelling. Be unique. Think about the voice mail messages you receive. What makes the difference between the ones you want to return and the ones you do not want to return? Craft your voice mail messages to sound more like the ones you want to return. Get the word "just" out of your vocabulary. Using the word "just" and other similar words diminishes the importance of what you are saying. An example of this being "I'm just calling to touch bases with you." This does not give the prospect a compelling reason to call back. Instead try something like, "I'm calling because based on what my other clients are saying, I know I can save you time and money." The next time you're staring at that phone and thinking how heavy it is, try these tips and last week's tips. Keep track of what seems to work best for you.
