Start small
LeaRae Keyes, RN

If you aren't able to get your potential customers to buy the product you are selling you may want to think about creating a product they'd be willing to buy.

One way to get people to buy your higher priced product or service is to offer them something of lesser value for a smaller price. Have a variety of products to offer at different price points. This is often referred to as a sales funnel. More people will buy from you at a lower price and fewer and fewer people will buy at higher and higher prices.

By getting your customers to buy at a lower price you help them begin to get to know, like, and trust you. You might even want to consider offering something at no charge to get them started in your funnel.

To start this process think about all the things you might be able to offer. Can you develop a pricing structure that would start at a low level and work up to a higher level?

Examples of what might be on such a list might be:

  • a free newsletter
  • a tip booklet
  • an ebook
  • a step by step video
  • a consulting process

Take the time now to make your list of products to offer. Then determine your pricing and use this new list to entice prospective customers.
