How to Sell to the Right People in the Right Way

To be successful as a nurse entrepreneur you need to be selling to the right people in the right way. The better you are able to define your target market the better your sales and marketing efforts will be for your nurse business.

If you want to be able to sell to the right people you need to be able to identify who is in your target market. Don't be seduced into thinking that everyone or almost everyone is in your target market. This is a sure way to fail. If you try to reach everyone and try to please everyone you will not succeed. You need to know as much as you can about your best prospects. This would include such information as their age, sex, industry, geographic location, interests, problems, challenges, income, and anything else that you can identify about them.

Once you have identified your target market you need to go further and identify where they gather, what they read, and who is really important to them. This information will help you decide how and where to market. Write articles and advertise in publications that your target market reads. Partner with people who already have an in with your target market.
