Many of you remember the ice cream parlors that offered a taste sample of any flavor of ice cream before you decided which to buy. This was an excellent way to ensure you made a buying decision on the spot. It also helped encourage you to return soon and try a different flavor.

Giving prospective customers and current customers "tastes" or samples is a brilliant way to help them understand what relief or enjoyment they would experience if they purchased your product or services or purchased a product or service from you they had not yet tried.

Offering samples is one of the easiest methods to encourage prospects and customers to buy from you. It's a proven method for success. It's frequently used as the initial step for getting prospects into your marketing funnel. Your marketing funnel is the journey your prospects take to know you and your product or service better. As your prospects make purchases they make their way through your marketing funnel.

What you offer as your taste or sample must be something that will provide value for your prospect. This sample is typically provided at no charge in exchange for your prospect's contact information.

What sample can you offer to your prospects? How will you provide them a taste of the solution to their problem? This one concept can make a huge difference in the success of your business so be sure you include a way for your prospect to sample your product or service as you plan your business and marketing strategy.
