While I think it is important to be aware of trends I also think it is equally important to be different. Being different from what everyone is doing will make you stand out from the crowd. Here are my 3 tips on using social media to increase your business.
- Develop a plan. You must have a plan for what it is you want from your social media involvement. Your plan will provide guidance for how, how often, and what you contribute.
- Add value. When you comment on social networks provide something of value. Your philosophy should be to "Give to get". Give first and then you will likely receive back valuable information or contacts.
- Create a group or business page. Start a group for your target audience and provide them content that has them coming back over and over for more.
Using social media is an inexpensive way to get your message out to your
target market. Use this medium in a strategic way and you will begin seeing
