Nurse Entrepreneurs - Step it up!
    LeaRae Keyes, RN
If your nurse entrepreneur business is not making the profit you had planned it is time to step things up, especially your marketing. Mario Andretti said, "If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough." Going fast will help you focus on the important stuff that will move your business forward. It will lead to letting go of the unimportant time fillers that often take up your time as a nurse entrepreneur business owner. . . . Keep reading
    Nurse Entrepreneur - Not Exactly
    LeaRae Keyes, RN
While being in Mexico and learning Spanish I have begun to think more about volunteer nursing experiences and how they mimic nurse entrepreneur experiences. I became even more interested as I met and talked with a woman named Diane who attended the same language school my husband and I attended. She has a blog at www.bluedaisyiii.blogspot.com. . . . Nurse Entrepreneurs Need Timing
    LeaRae Keyes, RN
Have you heard the saying:"Timing is everything"? Timing is critical in comedy. Timing can make or break a joke. The same is true in your nurse entrepreneur marketing. You need to be aware of the timing that is critical to your nurse entrepreneur market. . . . Keep reading

Year End Actions for the Nurse Entrepreneur
    LeaRae Keyes, RN
In the last tip I wrote about a system for nurse entrepreneur business owners to collect money. This caused me to think about the year end review. I failed to mention in the last tip the importance of collecting any money owed you by year end. If you go past the end of the calendar year, which for most businesses is also their fiscal year end, the money owed to your nurse entrepreneur business becomes increasingly difficult to collect. This is because most companies want to get as much debt paid as possible before year end to reduce their tax burden. So be sure to take a look at any bills that are older than 30 days and take action to collect on these invoices before year end. . . . Keep reading
    Get Your Invoices Paid Painlessly
    LeaRae Keyes, RN
I recently spoke with a couple of nurse entrepreneurs and one of their primary questions was about getting their invoices paid after they had been sent out. Talking about money and collecting on overdue invoices are tasks that most nurse entrepreneur hate. Does this sound like you? Here are a few steps you can take to decrease your chances of having to collect on overdue invoices. . . . Keep reading
Do you have a funnel for your nurse entrepreneur business?
    LeaRae Keyes, RN
Having a marketing funnel for your nurse entrepreneur business is about having a way to get business leads. It also involves helping your prospects take the next step which is to actually purchase your nurse entrepreneur products or services. Customers will enter your marketing funnel at different price points or will continue to buy your nurse entrepreneur products and services until they reach a particular total investment at which they will stop purchasing. Having a marketing funnel allows prospects to enter at varying points and to purchase multiple products or services from you. . . . Keep reading

    Samples Bring Sales
    LeaRae Keyes, RN
Many of you remember the ice cream parlors that offered a taste sample of any flavor of ice cream before you decided which to buy. This was an excellent way to ensure you made a buying decision on the spot. It also helped encourage you to return soon and try a different flavor. . . . Keep reading

I had the benefit of one on one with LeaRae, and the information exchanged was exciting, intriguing, as well as educational. What a wonderful teacher. LeaRae allows you the freedom to brainstorm and encourages new thoughts. She is not afraid of unusual or different ideas. Everything you might expect in an entrepreneur. I would strongly encourage others to join the forums, but also take part of the community she is building.

I think she is a wonderful coach and her web site is a reflection of that. Thank you LeaRae! Stellar job!

"I talked to you this summer, and wanted to let you know how progress is going... You gave me alot of encouragement, and I wanted to let you know that even tho it is slow, [my legal nurse consulting] business is starting to build.  I just completed my first entire case review, did 1 sub-contracting with possible testifying, and am now on my 2nd case as testifying expert and will testify.  I emailed approximately 70 attorneys in the past 2 weeks, and the case I am now working on came from the emailing, and I hope that an attorney that responded is not scared off with my fee schedule.  I hope that I will hear from more of the attorneys that I emailed and mailed out my packets to.  Keep your fingers crossed and say a prayer that it works.  I am really hoping that I can get this flying, so that I can spend more time at home with the kids.

I wanted to thank you for your encouragement, and please post this on your site if it is possible, as you have done a world of good for me."

"LeaRae Keyes is a world-class life coach I have been blessed to know since 2003.  She is a warm, perceptive, genuine professional, with an exceptional gift for motivating others.  Her approach seems quite effortless, yet it has been refined through years of experience and learning.  She is a true pleasure.  She is an inspiration in what she has achieved in her own life, and by her own example..."

"I'm so glad I found the Nurse Entrepreneur Network!  LeaRae always has great ideas to share with other "Nursepreneurs."  I recently finished the teleclass "Get Clients Now!" and I have to say that it was the most motivational and informative program I've done.

Just starting out in my business as an LNC, this program help me set goals and keep me organized.  It also kept me accountable to my peers in the group each week.  LeaRae is so insightful and has wonderful experience to draw from for those of us who are beginning our dream of being nurse entrepreneurs.

I would highly recommend ANYONE who is just starting their business, or even someone who's been in business awhile and feels like they're in a lull to take this class.  They won't regret it!"
